Turf Paradise holds the largest of Kentucky Derby events in the Arizona with over 8,000 people already expected in attendance. Guests can place their Kentucky Derby wagers and watch the live race. The track will also host their own races, a fashion contest, live music and activities for the kiddos. The first 4,000 paying guests will receive a commemorative Kentucky Derby glass. Various seating arrangements are available but spots do fill up quick, so reserve your spot soon.

The new gastropub hosts this bash which offers live off-track betting, best dressed and best and largest hat contests, celebrity lookalikes and more. Watch the race on over 30 TVs and enjoy the unofficial derby anthem, “My Old Kentucky Home,” which will be playing throughout the day.

The restaurant inside the Newton will feature a special brunch menu from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with specials such as tea sandwiches, pickled shrimp and vegetables, and a caramelized onion and blue cheese tart. Sip mint juleps and creole-lemonade cocktails for $5 during the party. Prizes will be given for best and biggest men’s and women’s hats. Private rooms are available for parties of up to 30 people.
