Scottsdale prepares Chaparral Park for Mighty Mud Mania 2015
City workers began preparing for the mud event Chaparral Park in May by digging out sand from the park’s sand volleyball court and digging out trenches to be filled with lots of cool, wet mud. Now they’ve began bringing out the obstacles for these extraordinary obstacle courses!
They have mini obstacle courses for toddlers, or “mudders” and they go up from there with the “original mud course” for 7 to 12-year-olds, and, for the second year running, the EXTREME mud course for adults 18 and up!
Even watching my six-year-old daughter (who’s exceptionally tall for her age) run the O.G. mud course for 7 to 12-year-olds, had my heart pounding.
Obstacle courses for kids at Mighty Mud Mania is FREE and children 17 and younger only need a permission slip. If you plan on partaking in and the EXTREME course for Adults 18+ is $10 and must register (register here). All guests must fill out a permission slip, get it here!
