Paradise Valley

Tucked between Scottsdale and Phoenix is the quiet town of Paradise Valley, Arizona’s wealthiest city per median income. Winding roads hugging the slopes of Camelback and Mummy Mountain lead to some of the most beautiful estates and luxury homes in Arizona. In the 1960’s, residents of Paradise Valley formed together a citizen’s committee in attempt to preserve their rural community protecting it from the commercial development swallowing up its neighboring cities. Petitions to keep PV entirely residential succeeded and in May 1961 the incorporation was granted and the Town of Paradise Valley was established.

“The town is predominantly zoned single-family housing but is also home to 9 resorts, 15 places of worship, 11 public and private schools, 3 golf courses, and 4 medical centers” – PV
