Restaurant Background: Dillon’s has four Arizona locations, two in the the West Valley were the first two Dillon’s locations to open. Its first location opened in 1999 in Peoria, and Arrowhead in 2005. BBQ fans, sports fans, families and friends come here for the food and the atmosphere. Live music on Friday nights.

Off the Menu: BBQ Chicken, BBQ beef brisket platter, and Burnt Ends are to die for and come with your choice of three BBQ sauces and two sides. Delicious homemade onion rings are $2 and make a great appetizer. Dillon’s also does catering.

Bobby-Q

Restaurant Background: Renowned for their large portions, family-friendly Southwest atmosphere, and outstanding BBQ (of course), Bobby-Q’s is the product of an Arizona legend, Bob Sikora. Friends with Willie Nelson, Sikora opened some of the first “clubs” in the Valley. Sikora’s inspiration for Bobby-Q came after his most recent quest – to taste the best BBQ our country has tooffer. Traveling from coast to coast, Sikora tried every variation possible. Upon his return, he set out to bring his best discoveries to the Valley – and that he did. Bobby-Q opened it’s doors in 2005.

Off the Menu: The succulent hand-pulled pork, smoky sausage links, fork-tender brisket, and ribs that fall right off the bone are the result of Bobby-Q’s barbecue master Executive Chef Mark Hittle, who’s secret lies within a slow cooking process over Tennessee hickory wood paired with the perfect blend of spices from his custom dry rub. You’re sure to enjoy all the barbecue off the menu, and for the little ones, the mac n’ cheese is top-notch.

Leo’s Island BBQ

Restaurant Background: Hawaii’s take on barbecue is one for all to enjoy and Leo’s Island BBQ captures the authentic island flavor perfectly. This faster-food BBQ joint is casual and clean with a true Hawaiian atmosphere.

Off the Menu: The Kaluha pork, teriyaki BBQ chicken, and chicken katsu are simply divine with mixed veggies, macaroni salad, and delicious rice sides. The BBQ beef combo takes care of the largest of appetites, but the best, by choice, has to be the BBQ pork!

Rudy’s Country Store & BBQ

Restaurant Background: This restaurant brings to life family recipes from Rudy’s family that go all the way back to the 1800’s when the original restaurant opened in Leon Springs, Texas. Famous Dave’s

Restaurant Background: A well known restaurant chain that brings the same authentic BBQ taste every time. A great spot for a quick meal, to watch sports, or have a drink.

Off the Menu: Pit-masters hand rub the meat with a special blend of spices before it’s cooked for hours over hickory logs on a live-wood smoker.
